Egg Donation Program
A Perfect Match actively recruits intelligent women between the approximate ages of 21-29 to become egg donors through our program. These are women who have a sincere desire to help individuals and couples become parents through egg donation who are also very accomplished in their personal lives in the areas of sports, arts, business, medicine, law and politics. Egg donors receive compensation for their efforts, but our experience shows that without the altruistic aspect of wanting to help create families most of these young women would never put forth the effort it takes, nor would they consider giving up the time that is required to be an egg donor.
A Perfect Match Egg Donation and Surrogacy Agency believes there is no other person who can make a better decision about which donor is the best choice for a family than the intended parent; therefore, we are committed to allowing our intended parents the freedom to choose their own egg donor based on the specific traits and characteristics they deem most important to them. We have seen that there is the basic need for intended parents to gain some control back in their life by choosing an egg donor they believe most closely resembles their own genetics, accomplishments, education, personality and values. A Perfect Match not only understands and appreciates this need to closely match the donor and intended parent in as many ways possible, but we also make it easy for the intended parents to get to know these extraordinary young women by providing password protected access to our secure online database of egg donors.
While many people do not understand or agree that personality or intelligence matters when it comes to choosing an egg donor, there are many studies that show both personality and intelligence are very heritable traits. The majority of our intended parents select an egg donor based on a combination of factors, which include the donor's accomplishments, personal appearance and her personality because they are truly trying to match themselves in as many ways possible.
Our extraordinary egg donors understand the importance and need for a family to know information about the personality and genetics of the egg donor they are "inviting into their home" and the egg donors want to help Intended Parents feel confident about that choice. Our egg donors are willing to go into great details about their lives, their hopes, their goals and their dreams, so that a family can find that "connection" with the donor. Most of our egg donors are also willing to participate in a phone conversation (can still maintain anonymity) as well as personal meetings.
In the past, egg donation was a very secretive act and egg donors and intended parents remained completely anonymous; however, today we see a positive move toward a more open relationship between the parties. We believe each egg donation cycle is as unique as the individuals involved; therefore, egg donation through A Perfect Match is geared toward the desires of each intended parent and egg donor. No one will ever be asked to do something they are uncomfortable with, but we do also want people to understand that there are many options available to egg donors and intended parents who are interested in a more "open" relationship or personal contact.

A Perfect Match complies with ASRM guidelines, with the exception of financial compensation to donors, which we believe should be the decision of intended parents and donors; therefore, we do not set donor compensation. We do, however, encourage our donors to keep compensation to a reasonable amount that reflects the time and effort it takes for egg donation. We also abide by all Federal and State guidelines regarding egg donation.
